Our AGM will be held on Tuesday, 21 May 2024, 7.30pm at St Paul's Church, Otakau Road, Milford.
Guest speaker topic: The Blue Green Networks Project in the Wairau catchment
Guest speaker Konrad Heinemann is the Healthy Waters Lead for the Blue Green Networks Project and will be speaking to us about the project and principles involved. This should result in a number of local mitigation works to prevent or contain flood waters during a flood event as well as establish networks of green open areas in flood-prone areas. These areas are intended to flood in an event but be available for recreation at other times. Note: Konrad will not be speaking about individual properties.
